| My dad came downstairs not long ago and started yelling at my
brother. I distinclty heard the words "Your a failure!" I
felt really bad. I know hes doing bad in school, but yelling
doesnt fix anything. I know how he feels. I went throught
same exact thing...still kind of am going through it. I just
prayed that he didnt yell at me for some reason afterwards.
Luckily he didnt. I know my brother wants his dad to be proud of
him. Many may not admit it, but its a desire amongst many of us
for our parents to be proud of their kids. I went and told my
brother that he is not a failure. It was VERY hard to do. I
know it sounds silly to say such a simple phrase, but I was practically
ready to cry trying to tell him. I just wanted him to know that
my dads words arnt true. I know how it can make one feel like
crap. I might not have mentioned that my brother is only 13. Barely a teenager.
I'll get around to commenting on everyones xangas in a bit...just probalby not right now since I am not in the happiest mood.

| My horse got nervous and reared up today. I thought I was going
to die, ok not really, but it was a bit scary. We also found one
of our cats dead in the barn. It was "Barney" one of the strays
that is not touchable anyways so I am not overly sad. Mom said
his body was ripped open and his inside were all coming out. I
have to have around 200 dollars by the weekend after. I also
finally got fabric. I started workign on my costume, but its
relaly frustrating me. I worked HOURS and had like nothing to
show for it. thhbbt. Oh well. This weekend is pokemon
rocks. I told Eddie Id go as Team Magma. So I guess I
will. Hopefully my ghetto-fied cosplay wont be too bad. I'm
hungry and have to go back to work now.
